My new disc with David Lacey, ‘Pell-Mell the Prolix’, which in many ways is a formal follow up to ‘Pictures of Men’, is now out on Mathieu Ruhlmann’s ‘Caduc’ imprint.
‘Pell-Mell’ was recorded during a short residency at SARU in Oxford Brookes university, where we made use of their variety of percussion, predominantly recorded to tape, in ways which seemingly befit our discussions concerning Jean Luc Godard’s ‘Film Socialisme’.
Many thanks to Paul Whitty at SARU, Sarah Hughes for the collages, Robert Curgenven for the mastering, and of course to David Lacey, a truly wonderful and kind human being.
You can purchase the disc from me for £10 plus £2 postage anywhere in the world. Or directly from the label.
